From Drab to Fab!!

For those that have kids getting ready to start school, or like mine who already have, it can be expensive getting all the supplies!! Well, we are on a tight budget and Lexi wanted a messenger bag that cost 34.00! I thought that was ridiculous so we found an inexpensive one from Wal-Mart for $9 and with a fat quarter and some ric rac and a button I gave it a little make-over! It only took me 10 min and a total of 1.75 extra to make hers stand out a little! She was happy and so was I!!! I forgot to get a before picture.

Free (cause I had some scraps at home)

.75 cents for One big lime Green button

Total for a revamped messenger bag 11.75!!

The Michelle!!

Here is the latest of my aprons! I made this for a friend, she won it on my blog a few months back and I finally had the time to sit and work on it! I LOVE the way it turned out! I was gonna wait until she got it in the mail to post pics but I am just too excited! I am terrible at surprises!!

The Kamdyn

I know this could ruin the surprise but I made this quilt for my sweet friend Heather's new little girl Kamdyn and I just wanted to share! Heather picked out the fabrics and I hope I made something she will be happy with. Congrats on your sweet little girl and I can't wait to hold her!!

Finally!!

I few weeks back I finally finished the last of the 4 aprons I gave away in my first Give Away! I had started it months ago and then it was "misplaced" and I finally found it and finished it.

Latest Project

I have had many projects that have been waiting to be finished or some that even need to be started but after spending months prior to Christmas under the light of my sewing machine I have been a bit of a slump. But today I finished an apron that has been on my mind for several months! I have yet to name it.
